Eco Dry’s 10 Step Cleaning Process
1. Pre-Inspection
Every great carpet cleaning experience starts with a proper pre-inspection. We will inspect your particular areas of concern, as well as note your carpets construction and condition. He will also advise you of any possible permanent staining.
2. Commercial Pre-vacuum
Removing dry soil is one of the most important steps in cleaning. The carpet is thoroughly pre-vacuumed to remove as much dry soil as possible.
3. Pre-conditioning
All areas will be pre-treated with special emphasis on spots and spills. This will emulsify the soil and prepare for cleaning.
4. Agitation
Agitation will be performed with a machine or by hand (depending on carpet type and soil levels) to further loosen traffic area soil.
5. Soil Extraction
Soil extraction will be done through the us of our Orbital Pad Machine.
6. Move Furniture
Light Sofas, tables and chairs will be moved. After cleaning under these items, each piece will be put back in its original position and Styrofoam blocks or plastic tabs will be put underneath if necessary. Beds, dressers, and heavier pieces of furniture are left in place under our regular pricing structure. These items can be moved upon your request and at an additional cost.
7. Post Spotting
If any difficult spots remain our technician will use one or more of our many specialty spot removal products to attempt removal. If a spot is removable, we are equipped to take it out. Please note that certain stains are not removable and are considered a permanent stain.
8. Speed Drying
Some carpets (not all) benefit from an additional drying process, as we finish each area, air movers may be placed on the carpet to promote fast drying. Sometimes a dry bonnet machine is used to assist in faster drying and to prevent wicking from occurring. Eco Dry achieves extremely fast dry times for the level of cleaning we are providing.
9. Carpet Grooming
The carpet pile is set in one direction so that the fibers are in the best position for drying and ultimate visual appeal. Please note that not all styles of carpet require grooming. Your technician will be able to identify your carpet style and if it needs grooming.
10. Post Inspection
Please walk through your home or business with our technician and inspect our work. If you have any questions or concerns please let our technician know so that he can address them. Signing our service receipt will let us know that you are pleased with our service.
